1. Who we are
ELEVEN HUMANS SAS, RUT 220720430019, domiciled at Luis Lamas 3192, Montevideo, Uruguay, operates the 11 Humans platform and is the data controller for the data described in this policy, on the terms and to the extent set forth in section 2.
For any privacy inquiry or to exercise your rights over your data, you may write to us at jzeinal@elevenhumans.com.
2. Scope and roles
It is important to distinguish between two types of data, because our role is different in each case.
Data of our customers
This is the data of the individual or institution that contracts 11 Humans: sports professionals, psychologists, coaching staffs and clubs. With respect to this data, we act as data controllers: we decide what we collect and for what purpose.
Data of athletes and patients
This is the data that our customer uploads to or generates on the platform about the individuals it assesses. With respect to this data, the customer is the data controller —it decides what data it uploads, for what purpose and for how long— and 11 Humans acts as data processor, processing such data solely in accordance with the customer's instructions and with the provisions of the Terms and Conditions.
This means that, if you are an athlete assessed with 11 Humans, the natural point of contact for your inquiries and for exercising your rights is the professional or club that assesses you. Nevertheless, you may write to us and we will assist in channeling your request.
3. Data we process
Account and contact data
First and last name, email address, telephone number, organization or club to which you belong and job title. We collect this data when the registration form or the contact form on this website is completed, or when you write to us by email or WhatsApp.
Billing data
Data necessary to issue the invoice and manage the subscription. Full card details are processed directly by the payment gateway: 11 Humans does not store card numbers or security codes.
Athlete assessment data
Answers to tests and self-tests, results of cognitive tests, emotional indicators and neurophysiological variables, in addition to the identifying data that the customer decides to upload (name, date of birth, category, position). Part of this information constitutes sensitive data under Law No. 18.331 and receives the enhanced treatment that such status requires.
Visit source and ad measurement
When you arrive at this website, we record how you arrived: the campaign parameters of the link (for example, utm_source or utm_campaign), the ad click identifiers of Meta and Google (fbclid, gclid), the referring page and the date of your first visit. If you accept marketing cookies, we also record the identifiers of the Meta cookies (_fbc and _fbp). This data is associated with your account when you sign up.
Technical usage data
Access and activity logs —date and time, IP address, type of device and browser, actions performed within the platform— generated automatically for security, traceability and error diagnosis purposes.
4. How we use it
- To create and manage your account, including the 5-day free trial.
- To provide the service: process assessments and generate profiles, reports and alerts.
- To manage the subscription, process payments and issue the corresponding invoices.
- To respond to commercial inquiries and provide technical support.
- To send essential operational communications: access credentials, expiration notices, changes to the Terms or to prices, and billing notifications.
- To safeguard the security of the platform, detect fraud and prevent misuse.
- To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell personal data. To measure the effectiveness of our ads, we share with Meta Platforms data from your registration (for example, email address and telephone number) pseudonymized by means of a hash function, together with the source of your visit, as described in section 11.
We never share athlete assessment data with Meta or use it for advertising, nor do we use it for purposes unrelated to the provision of the service to our customer.
5. Legal basis
The processing is based, as applicable, on:
- The performance of the contract between us and the customer, for everything necessary to provide the contracted service.
- The prior, express and informed consent of the data subject, in the case of athlete and patient data. Such consent is obtained and kept by the customer, who warrants that it holds such consent —and, in the case of minors, the authorization of their legal representatives— in accordance with clause 6 of the Terms and Conditions.
- Compliance with legal obligations regarding accounting, tax and the retention of invoices and receipts.
- The legitimate interest in preserving the security and integrity of the platform.
- Your consent, for Meta marketing cookies on this website. You may grant or withdraw it at any time from "Cookie preferences", at the bottom of each page.
6. Providers and international transfers
To operate the platform, we work with providers that process data on our behalf, subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations. As of the date of this policy:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, database and backup infrastructure. The servers are located in the United States.
- Resend — sending of transactional email (access credentials, notices and responses to forms).
- Payment processing gateways — management of charges and subscriptions. They receive billing and card data directly from the User.
- Meta Platforms — measurement of the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram, by means of the Meta Pixel (only with your consent) and the sending of pseudonymized registration data. Meta processes this data in the United States and in accordance with its own policies.
- Automated analysis providers — processing of results to generate assisted interpretations in the plans that include that functionality.
We may update this list when our infrastructure changes. The current and detailed list of providers is available upon request by writing to jzeinal@elevenhumans.com.
Since part of the infrastructure is located outside Uruguay, the processing involves an international data transfer. We adopt the contractual safeguards required by Law No. 18.331 and its regulatory decree so that the level of protection is maintained at the destination.
In addition, we may disclose data when required by a competent judicial or administrative authority in the exercise of its legal powers.
7. Retention
We retain the data for as long as the account remains in effect. Once the free trial ends or the subscription is canceled, the account switches to read-only mode and the information remains available so that the customer can consult it or request its export.
Following account termination, we delete assessment data when the customer so requests, and in any event once it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Billing data is retained for the periods required by Uruguayan accounting and tax regulations, even after the relationship has ended.
To request early deletion of the data, write to jzeinal@elevenhumans.com.
8. Data subject rights
In accordance with Law No. 18.331, every data subject may exercise their rights of access, rectification, updating, inclusion and deletion, as well as object to certain processing.
If you are a customer of 11 Humans, you may exercise them by writing to jzeinal@elevenhumans.com. If you are an assessed athlete, the natural channel is the professional or club that assesses you, since it is the one that makes decisions about that data; nevertheless, you may write to us and we will assist in channeling your request.
We will respond within the time limits established by applicable regulations. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request, to prevent a third party from accessing someone else's data.
If you believe that your rights were not duly addressed, you may file a complaint with the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP) (Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit) of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.
9. Minors
The platform is intended for sports professionals and institutions, not for minors. However, the athletes assessed may be minors.
In such cases, the customer represents and warrants that it has the authorization of the minor's legal representative(s) and, where appropriate given the minor's age and maturity, the assent of the minor. 11 Humans does not take part in obtaining such consent, but may require documentary evidence that it has been obtained at any time.
If a legal representative believes that a minor's data was uploaded without due authorization, they may write to us at jzeinal@elevenhumans.com and we will process the complaint together with the responsible customer.
10. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control within the platform, individual credentials and activity logs.
No system is absolutely impregnable. We do not guarantee the complete impossibility of unauthorized access resulting from causes beyond our diligence. In the event of a security incident affecting personal data, we will act in accordance with applicable regulations and will notify the affected customers.
11. Cookies and ad measurement
This website uses Meta cookies (Meta Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our ads, only if you accept them in the cookie notice. If you reject them or do not respond, the pixel is not loaded.
In addition, when you sign up, we share with Meta data from your registration pseudonymized by means of a hash function, so that Meta can link the sign-up to the ad that led to it. Details on cookies are set out in the Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, the regulations or our internal practices change. If the change is material, we will give notice by email or within the platform before it takes effect. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
